Alignment – For this campaign, all characters will start off Good. Characters turning Evil during play will become an NPC, at the DM’s discretion. Good people can do some bad things, but this is an overall measure of the characters’ morality. Repeated evil acts (torture) will shift the character’s alignment. This is 4E, and there is no more ‘chaotic good’ or ‘lawful good’; you can still play that way, but your alignment will remain ‘good’.
Experience – All active characters will stay at the same level of experience. Experience earned during a session will be divided by the total attending characters, then awarded to all characters. Players missing a session will be caught up, their characters do not have to be played by someone else; with the 4E rules I can easily leave someone back at town and still make balanced encounters.
